Your role at a glance

This role serves a dual purpose, combining strategic marketing initiatives with operational marketing support for the SVP of Global Data Centers Marketing. The individual will manage operational excellence across the marketing team, including budget oversight, executive-level presentations, and high-impact communications. A key focus will be developing innovative ways to showcase and promote marketing’s contributions internally across GDC, ensuring visibility and alignment with business priorities. Acting as a trusted advisor and liaison across NTT DATA’s broader marketing organization, this role drives coordination, strategic execution, and organizational effectiveness.

What we are looking for

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor and right hand to the SVP, ensuring priorities are aligned and executed across the marketing organization.
  • Own the marketing budget process, including strategic planning, forecasting, and performance tracking to optimize ROI.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations and narratives for leadership reviews, board updates, and strategic forums.
  • Create and implement internal marketing visibility programs to highlight team impact and foster engagement across GDC.
  • Partner with finance and procurement on vendor negotiations and contract management to maximize value.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on data-driven analysis of marketing performance.
  • Lead and structure internal leadership meetings, driving clarity on objectives, decisions, and follow-through.
  • Coordinate across all marketing disciplines (content, digital, events, product marketing) to align resources and timelines with strategic goals.
  • Act as the primary liaison between GDC marketing and broader NTT DATA marketing teams, ensuring seamless collaboration on global initiatives.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials, talking points, and strategic communications for internal and external engagements.
  • Monitor progress on high-priority projects, identify risks, and proactively escalate or resolve issues.

KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

  • Proven expertise in marketing operations, including budgeting, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with ability to craft compelling narratives for senior audiences.
  • Expert in PowerPoint slide development and design.

  • Strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across global, matrixed teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in marketing technology platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Eloqua, Salesforce, dashboards).
  • High level of business acumen and ability to connect marketing initiatives to organizational objectives.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Executive Alignment: Consistently delivers high-quality presentations and communications that enable leadership to make informed decisions.
  • Operational Excellence: Marketing budgets are managed accurately and efficiently, with clear reporting and optimized spend.
  • Visibility & Engagement: Internal GDC teams are well-informed and engaged with marketing initiatives through creative promotion strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Seamless collaboration across marketing groups and broader NTT DATA teams, resulting in timely execution of strategic projects.
  • Strategic Impact: Demonstrates measurable contribution to marketing effectiveness and organizational priorities.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is a bonus but not mandatory.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 7-10 years in marketing roles (industry experience in data centers not required).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment such as Bluetooth headseats and iPads.
  • Work primarily during U.S. business hours, with flexibility to accommodate other time zones as needed.

Work conditions & other requirements

  • This position is expected to be remote with occasional onsite requirements.
  • Travel required, 25%

Compensation Pay Range

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device.
NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $140,100.00 - $186,800.00.
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
