We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Job Description: Senior Power BI Technical LeadSummary: Looking for a Senior Power BI Developer / Power BI Lead who can act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team. This role goes beyond report development.
Role & Responsibilities:Lead client-facing conversations to understand business objectives and reporting needsGather, analyze, and challenge business requirements, ensuring they are clear, complete, and feasibleProactively propose best options and alternative approaches (e.g., data model changes, visualization choices, performance trade-offs, governance considerations) based on requirementsManage expectations by clearly communicating timelines, constraints, and potential impacts of requirement changesEnsuring data security and compliance with best practicesTroubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reportsProviding training and support to end users on using Power BI.
Required skills & experience:Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creationStrong understanding of data modeling and data visualization conceptsExperience with MS SQL for data manipulation and extractionKnowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculationsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamAdaptability to changing business requirementsExperience with ETL/ELT processes and tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, other integration tools).Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Fabric) and their integration with Power BI.
