About this role

We are looking for technically strong and commercially minded professional to lead the NSF HCV Food Equipment program in India, driving technical excellence, regulatory compliance and market adoption across Food Equipment manufacturers and food service stakeholders 

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Advisory & Support (Food Equipment)

  • Provide expert guidance on Food Equipment hygienic design, HACCP compliance, and NSF standards with a strong focus on food service and food processing equipment.
  • Develop and maintain guidelines, technical documents and standard operating procedures supporting the HCV-IN Food Equipment program.
  • Perform technical evaluations and interpretations to ensure Food Equipment, components and materials are reviewed consistently and in accordance with HCV-IN Food Equipment Guidelines
  • Support food equipment manufacturers and clients through the registration and verification process by documentation review, testing, and design reviews.
  • Collaborate with NSF’s global technical teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment of food equipment verification services.

Sales & Business Development (Food Equipment Programs)

  • Drive revenue growth for the HCV IN Food Equipment Program through direct sales and strategic partnerships.
  • Identify and convert leads among food equipment manufacturers, QSR chains, hospitality groups, and institutional buyers.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline using Salesforce tools, ensuring timely follow-ups and conversions.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Work with marketing team to promote the HCV IN Food Equipment mark as a differentiator in the Indian food equipment market.
  • Organize and participate in industry events, webinars, and trade shows.
  • Develop marketing materials and case studies showcasing successful HCV IN Food Equipment implementations.

Regulatory & Standards Alignment

Reporting & Insights

  • Provide monthly sales and activity reports to leadership.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s in mechanical engineering, Food Technology, or related field.
  • 5 + years of experience in food equipment manufacturing, compliance, or certification.
  • Proven track record in technical sales or business development.
  • Strong understanding of Commercial Food Equipment, HACCP, hygienic design, and food safety standards.

Experience working with BIS regulations in Food Equipment Design, FSSAI, or NSF certifications is a plus
