A. Packaging Development

• Develop, evaluate, and finalize packaging materials based on product and operational requirements.

• Work with suppliers for new packaging development, samples, testing, and cost benchmarking.

• Coordinate packaging trials with production/manufacturing teams.

• Ensure packaging meets quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and sustainability goals.

• Maintain packaging specifications, artwork, and technical documents.

B. Sourcing & Supplier Coordination

• Support the sourcing team in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding packaging suppliers.

• Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality and sustainability standards

• Coordinate & support the supplier capability assessments.

• Collaborate with suppliers for development, quality assurance, and timely delivery

• Track supplier performance: lead times, quality issues, and service levels.

C. RM & PM Inventory Management

• Monitor day-to-day RM and PM inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.

• Maintain minimum/maximum stock levels and avoid stockouts or excess inventory.

• Coordinate with production , warehouse, and procurement for material requirements.

• Track GRNs, consumption, slow-moving/obsolete stock, and monthly reconciliation.

• Ensure accurate documentation and system updates (ERP/SAP/Tally or relevant system).

D. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Production, QA/QC, R&D, Sourcing, Warehousing, and Logistics.

• Resolve material quality issues with QA & suppliers.

• Support the production and Sourcing team in MRP and forecast-based procurement decisions.

E. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all packaging materials comply with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.

• Maintain packaging artwork files, technical drawings, and change control records.

• Maintain accurate documentation for audits: internal, regulatory, customer.

F. Planning & Forecasting

• Work closely with production, supply chain, and sales teams to forecast packaging material requirements

• Support monthly and annual planning cycles with accurate data and insights

To succeed, you must hold:

• 5+ years of experience in packaging development & Inventory management (Bio-Agriculture/Agrochemical preferred)

• Familiarity with agrochemical packaging regulatory requirements

• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP), artwork tools, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills

• Self-starter with problem-solving ability, LEAN concepts, and process improvement mindset

• Ability to influence management and collaborate with global teams.
