Join us as our new Head of Global Capex Project Sourcing
We are looking for a strategic leader to head our Global Capex Project Sourcing function. You will lead a global organization supporting large-scale Capex projects and ensure that engineering services, equipment, and installations are sourced efficiently, compliantly, and at competitive global cost.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering & Facility Services, you will lead around 20 professionals across Europe, China, India, and the Americas and be responsible for a Capex portfolio of approximately €650 million per year.

You will join a global organization that plays a critical role in delivering Novonesis’ Capex projects worldwide. Close collaboration across Engineering, Project Groups, and Procurement is key to our success.
In this role, you’ll make an impact by:
- Leading and developing a high-performing global project sourcing organization
- Defining and implementing global sourcing processes, standards, and contract frameworks
- Driving close collaboration with Engineering, Capex Project Groups, Production, and Procurement
- Ensuring optimal sourcing decisions balancing quality, timing, cost, and total cost of ownership
- Establishing Sourcing Strategies contributing to faster and more efficient Capex project execution.
To succeed, you must hold:
- A degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience leading global teams in complex project environments
- Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and financial understanding
- Solid experience supporting large-scale Capex projects
- Excellent communication skills and full professional proficiency in English
Location: Preferably Copenhagen or another Novonesis production site worldwide
