Job Description

 

The qualified candidate must be experienced in a manufacturing environment, working with large, industrial machinery and tooling. All-around CNC Operator / Manual Machinist skills are required.

 

Compensation

Novolex is required by laws in many locations to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The compensation range considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $28.00 to $32.00 per hour.

 

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture mold components from engineering drawings.
  • Modify or build components for other departments.
  • Complete emergency repairs of tools.
  • Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Graduate of a trade/technical school or program preferred.
  • Candidates must be highly skilled, methodical, organized, able to read blueprints, attentive to detail, results-oriented and able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication skills are required as well as the ability to produce outstanding work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with various precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, depth and height gages.
  • Strong manual machine tool experience.
  • Previous TRAK mill and lathe experience required.
