Job Description Summary
Director, Business Intelligence – Enterprise & Field, will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of business intelligence strategies and solutions to support Enterprise and Field, performance reporting. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, BI Product development, Agile development, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Business Intelligence Products and own its operations.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and evaluate Digital Business Intelligence solutions that address Enterprise and Field needs.
Co-create with key stakeholders to build partnerships & collaborations
Lead the design, development, and implementation of business intelligence solutions to support Enterprise and Field Reporting.
Lead the delivery of multiple projects supporting the project plans across the design, development and operation stages of a project to support the successful delivery within set KPI's in collaboration with DDIT.
Collaborate with field teams to understand their reporting needs and provide actionable insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all business intelligence products.
Provide support to field teams on the use of business intelligence tools and solutions in collaboration with DDIT
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
Ability to drive analysis and product design utilizing concepts of design thinking.
Novartis seeks an individual with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of data management, data & analytics tools and platforms and product operations. The candidate should Drive innovation and entrepreneurial mind set to ensure team members are fully stimulated, challenged and engaged on delivering high quality work.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
A master’s degree is preferred.
Proven experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role, with a focus on Enterprise and Field operations.
Experience with data querying languages.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and technologies
Strong proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, or similar.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on business intelligence in a healthcare setting.
10+ years of people management experience. Proven track record of enabling data-driven decision-making at a senior leadership level, including addressing complex business challenges.
Strong analytical background, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and aligning them with business priorities to drive impactful results
