Introduction The Human Resources Clerk will be responsible for processing Human Resource transactions for a large group of CCRCE employees. This will include such things as keying and auditing employee information and time entries in the payroll system, preparation of contracts and letters and supporting schools in their day to day activities.
 
Minimum Requirements - Completion of a diploma in Human Resources or related diploma training and/or equivalent experience may be considered.
 
Additional Assets a) Applying knowledge and understanding of collective agreements in regards to time entry, recruitment and all contractual leaves;
b) Managing and analyzing large volumes of data with a keen attention to detail and data integrity;
c) Managing and updating benefit entitlements as required;
d) Managing and prioritizing multiple tasks in an environment with high volume and strict deadlines;
e) Advanced computerized systems (SAP Payroll/HR), spreadsheets, database software, internet, power point and word processing software;
f) Working effectively in a team environment and supporting the management team on matters relating to the administration of human resources functions;
g) Diplomacy and discretion in dealing with personnel and the general public;
h) Demonstrating commitment to client services;
i) Adhering to confidentiality pertaining to all HR issues.
j) Two (2) years experience in database technology and/or information management or related environment pertaining to Human Resources/Payroll an asset.
