About this role
- Operates and maintains forklift truck to insure a safe and efficient operation.
- Communicate and coordinate with previous shift driver and relief driver. Proper and thorough turn-over.
- Learn yard layout
- Learn/Know proper marking and identification of pipe.
- Complete moving and handling of XL Systems Products in accordance to company procedures
- Ensure proper procedures for cleaning and installing thread protectors.
- Obtain basic knowledge of threads.
- Return tools to proper places at the end of each shift.
- Perform preoperational checks on forklifts and report all service concerns.
- Complete routine maintenance of equipment
- Delivery of proper material around yard as directed via procedures or supervisor.
- Maintain a steady flow of material through the yard.
- Perform preoperational checks on forklifts and report all service concerns.
- Perform all tasks and duties in harmony with other employees to create and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance of the company’s QHSE policies, and corporate code and overall company’s objectives
- Other duties as defined by Facility Materials Manager.
