Rate: £17.00 per hour

Hours: 7.5 hours per week - 4 hours on Tuesdays, 2 hours on Thursdays, and 3 hours on alternative Sundays

Contract: Self Employed, Permanent

Closing Date: 11th February 2026

 

A female Personal Assistant is required to provide social support to an individual in the Sileby area.

Role Requirements

You will be required to: 

  • support with personal care tasks/toileting needs when required
  • escort the client into the community to go swimming on Sundays (you will not be required to get in the pool). 
  • support them to take part in hobbies, going out shopping and gardening
  • support with household tasks

The client has three cats and fishes. 

You must have a full, clean UK driving licence and will need to occasionally drive the Motability car. 

The client enjoys spending time with family, talking, swimming, pets, house plants, cooking, the garden, and going shopping.

They have been diagnosed with:

  • a stroke causing left side weakness
  • spasticity in left arm, hand and foot (calliper worn on left leg which often spasms)
  • neurodivergence

The client has poor mobility and is a fall risk so some support may be required while out. They are unable to negotiate steps, kerbs and uneven surfaces. At home, they walk with a quad stick and a folding stick or powered wheelchair is used when out in the community.
