A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Software Specialist to join Leicestershire Traded Services LEAMIS Team.  If you have an excellent knowledge of schools Financial Accounting Systems (FAS) and financial processes and would relish the opportunity to join a dedicated 2nd line support specialist team then please contact Lisa Cope, Senior Business Services Specialist to arrange an informal chat (details below).

About the Role

Join our accredited team of specialists providing comprehensive, specialist advice, support, training and consultancy on school FAS systems, currently SIMS FMS, SIMS Finance, Bromcom Finance, Access Finance and Access Budgets although knowledge of similar financial management systems would be an advantage.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Possess a clear understanding of schools annual financial processes for local authority and/or academy schools/Multi Academy Trusts.
  • Have an enthusiasm and passion to enable schools and academies to make maximum effective use of their Financial and Management Information Systems (FAS & MIS) resulting in the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Have a ‘Can Do’ attitude and a proved track record demonstrating the ability to learn new systems quickly ie: school’s accounting and budget management systems.
  • Experience of delivering training to new users.
  • Ability to produce supporting resources for training courses, guidance bulletins, extract reports applicable for all levels within the education sector.
  • Have a high knowledge of Microsoft including Excel to an advanced level.
  • Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
