Role Overview

Summary/Objective: The Manager Revenue Cycle Analytics is responsible for managing analysis and monitoring revenue cycle data from multiple sources in order to understand performance, assist in forecasting and optimizing revenue.  

***This position can be performed from anywhere within the United States. Candidates must have reliable internet access and be able to work effectively in a virtual environment.  Work site attendance may be required from time to time in accordance with business conditions.

Essential Functions: 

• Oversight and management of Revenue Cycle Analytics necessary for reporting performance to all areas of the company. Creating and maintaining KPI’s, dashboards and all metrics necessary for management of the organization as it relates to revenue.
• Advanced knowledge of tools and programming languages like Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and SQL to create and iterate on solutions that empower operational and exploratory analysis.
• Understand drivers of business performance for the Revenue Cycle unit, and proactively analyze complex data sets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights to decision-makers.
• Effectively communicate with internal and client executive leaders (VP, C-suite) to describe performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Manages internal processes and system functionality to determine and communicate corrective action/process improvement.
• Ensures implementation & maintenance of processes to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Evaluate internal systems for inefficiencies and inaccuracies and support a data quality program to deliver resolutions and/or protocols for handling, processing and cleaning data.

 Qualifications:

• BA/BS in a field that emphasizes data analysis and visualization (e.g., computer science, social sciences, physical sciences, math, engineering, or statistics), or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience as a data analyst
• 2+ years of experience in revenue cycle management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated project and people management skills
• Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
• Ability to process and analyze data sets, interpreting them for making business decisions
• Experience with data management, specifically with validating and auditing data and reports from multiple systems
• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
• Knowledge of revenue cycle data, operations and KPIs
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI is required
