Summary of Job: Cardiac Opportunity at Corewell Dearborn! Run 26-28 ORs daily, Medical Direction. Cases include: General surgery, cardiac, neurology, endoscopy, bread and butter pediatrics, OBGYN, orthopedics, podiatry, plastics, ophthalmology, robotics, thoracic, vascular Compensation: Base salary: $500,000, Cardiac and quality metric stipends: $50,000, PTO 9 weeksFacility Description: Across Michigan, 12 Corewell Health hospitals have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report 2023-2024 Best Hospitals, including three hospitals that earned national recognition for their services. Corewell Health has the most nationally recognized hospitals in the state.
Dearborn has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, Dearborn is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dearborn is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. The hospital is also known for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women’s health, heart and vascular and cancer care.
