Responsibilities
Responsible for overall planning, quality improvement activities, and daily operations of Laboratory Specimen Services. Collaborates with others on operational, planning, fiscal, human resources and quality management issues to assure that administrative systems, techniques and procedures are appropriate for services. Maintains twenty-four-hour accountability for Laboratory Specimen Services.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
B.S. or B.A. degree in Education, Business Administration, or other health related specialty, plus two (2) years’ experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital based clinical laboratory, OR
Two (2) year Associate Degree in a health-related specialty or Business Administration, plus three (3) years of experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital based clinical laboratory, OR
Four (4) years of experience as a phlebotomist and laboratory data clerk in a hospital based clinical laboratory.
