Events Manager

We are seeking a talented and driven Events Manager to lead our events department. If you are passionate about creating exceptional events, driving business growth, and increasing sales with one of Canada’s fastest-growing hospitality groups, this role is for you.

As an Events Manager, you will have the opportunity to build and mentor your own team, uphold departmental standards, and make a direct impact on the overall success of the location. You will collaborate closely with our talented chefs, General Manager, Director of Events, restaurant leadership teams, and hotel division to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

The Role

  • Lead, direct, and oversee all events within the facility, ensuring exceptional execution while adhering to company standards, policies, and procedures

  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to the banquet and events team

  • Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets

  • Identify leadership potential within the team and develop high-performing individuals for advancement within the company

  • Oversee banquet event execution and quality assurance

  • Manage client relationships, including event proposals, contracts, and account management

  • Plan banquet inventory and control labor costs

  • Create and manage efficient, accurate staff schedules

  • Attend weekly BEO meetings with the Chef to ensure culinary excellence and seamless execution
