Pay starts at 01 - $21.00. Pay is based on experience.
Supports food production by safely opening, handling, and staging raw materials and ingredients for daily use. Ensures timely, accurate access to prepped ingredients and supplies; maintains inventory and storage areas to sanitation and regulatory guidelines.
· Receive, open, and verify ingredients and materials from storeroom for production.
· Weigh, measure, and stage ingredients per batch specifications and daily prep lists.
· Deliver ingredients and packaging materials to appropriate lines or workstations.
· Properly label, date, and store opened ingredients to maintain traceability and freshness.
· Follow allergen separation protocols and food safety procedures during ingredient handling.
· Clean and sanitize containers, utensils, and work surfaces before and after use.
· Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to Supervisors.
· Assist in inventory control with accurate recordkeeping, labeling, and cycle counts.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in decant rooms, prep areas, and storage zones.
· Operate carts, pallet jacks, or other basic equipment to transport materials safely.
· Adhere to PPE, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards at all times.
· Report any food safety, quality, or GMP concerns to Supervisors or FSQA immediately.
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Experience in food manufacturing, storeroom, or ingredient handling is a plus.
· Basic math skills; ability to read weights, batch sheets, and labels.
· Understanding of safe lifting, food handling, and allergen awareness procedures.
