About this role

Park Nicollet is looking to hire an LPN, MA or EMT to join our Women’s Services team!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

Position Summary:

Utilizing broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices, aids providers in accordance with PNHS standard and policies. 

As part of our team, you will be providing care for patients which may include the following duties:

  • Escorting patients to exam rooms and appropriately document visit information such as height, weight, and blood pressure. 
  • Preparing and administering medications and immunizations' as directed by the clinician
  • Ensuring all the components of the standard rooming process are completed. 
  • Maintaining knowledge of, and complying with, all relevant laws regulations and policies, procedures and standards. 

 

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Schedule will vary

Required Qualifications:

This role requires a BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained. Online BLS certification is not acceptable.

We are open to filling this position with an LPN, MA, ATC or EMT. Requirements for each are outlined below:  

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing. One or more years of nursing experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine). Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

 

Medical Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). One or more years of experience desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine). Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

 

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current MN EMT License. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

One or more years of experience desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine).
