Our team is looking for a full-time Junior Process Engineer-in-Training who is driven to deliver their best work every day and are committed to working collaboratively to achieve shared goals. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help with the design and review of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) as well as process flow diagrams (PFDs)
- Assist with the development of standard process engineering deliverables such as design basis, design criteria, process control philosophy, etc.
- Help create process simulations and material balances for a variety of processes (HYSYS)
- Review vendor and subcontractor quotes and drawings for accuracy
- Effectively communicate information verbally, graphically and in writing
- Report to the Discipline lead on deliverables, tasks, and concerns
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered with APEGA as an EIT
- 2-4 years of experience in an EPCM environment
- Recent graduates will be considered
- Experience with HYSYS an asset
- Collaborative team approach and ability to build long-term, successful relationships with clients and project teams
- Ability to take responsibility for a variety of tasks and follow through from initialization to completion independently
