The 232-bed Pottstown Hospital, located in Pottstown, PA, is a voluntary nonprofit hospital that is part of Tower Health. This short-term acute care facility has a number of treatment specialties, including sports medicine; joint replacement; arthroscopic surgery; osteoporosis, arthritis; bodily injuries, trauma, and fractures; and behavioral health.

Requirements
Responsibilities

Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discusses anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements
Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
