The 217-bed Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono (formerly Pocono Medical Center) is a full-service, short-term acute care hospital in East Stroudsburg, PA. The voluntary nonprofit is a member of the Lehigh Valley Health Network and was the first community hospital in Pennsylvania to receive full accreditation from the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP).

Requirements
Responsibilities
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

What you'll do
- The CRNA will perform pre-anesthesia assessments, discuss anesthetic options with patients, and monitor their physiological condition during procedures. Responsibilities also include induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, as well as performing clinical interventions as needed.
