Compensation / Benefits

  • $10.86-$17.74/hr depending on previous work experience.
  • Evening differential $1.50/hr.
  • NIght differential $1.75/hr.
  • Weekend differential $1.75/hr.

Norman Regional Health System Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 25 bed Level III unit with a Neonatal Ground Transport Team.  We focus on family-centered care. We have 5 Neonatologist on staff.  We a special team of Neonatal Nurses.  Our mission is to serve our community as the leader in health and wellness.  We do so by providing a positive and compassionate attitude toward our families, and co-workers.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School education or equivalent GED. 
  • Completion of a Unit Secretary or Medical Office/Assistant course Required. 
  • Familiarity with medical terminology required.

Experience

  • Six (6) months of experience as a unit secretary, medical office assistant, or nursing assistant will be accepted in lieu of the required course work. 
  • Six (6) months of experience in a clerical or secretarial position which requires the utilization of medical terminology will also be accepted in lieu of coursework. 
  • Hospital clerical experience preferred.

(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).
