About this role
Job Summary
Assures that Hospital grounds are clear of trash and other debris.
Assures that Hospital grounds are clear of animals, animal nests and other animal residue.
Operates and maintains Automatic Lawn Sprinkler system.
Verifies operation of the Program Controllers.
Performs groundskeeping duties in areas not covered under Landscaping Contract.
Operates and maintains Lawn Care tools and equipment.
Verifies that equipment and tools are in proper operational condition.
Removes snow and ice from sidewalks and parking lots during winter season.
Qualifications
Education
High school education or equivalent.
Prefer Vocational Education in Grounds Maintenance
Experience
Prefer two years experience in grounds maintenance for facility with 10+ acres.

What you'll do
- The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the hospital grounds, including trash removal and snow clearance. They also operate and maintain lawn care tools and the automatic lawn sprinkler system.
