Job Summary

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree and Medical Technology (MT) certification with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
- Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988.
Experience
- Four (4) years of laboratory experience as an MLT/HT (internal CLS2); OR Two (2) years of laboratory experience as a MT/HTL (internal CLS3)
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)
Licensure/Certification
- Registered with ASCP (or eligible for registry) as a Medical Technologist or equivalent
Compensation/Benefits
- $26.77-$43.71/hr depending on previous experience
- Position qualifies for $2.50/hr night shift differential

What you'll do
- The role involves maintaining laboratory instrumentation and work areas, along with performing quality control and calibration functions. Additionally, the scientist will provide training, assess competencies, and consistently complete testing within established time frames while addressing departmental issues.
