About this role

Nordson Packaging, a global leader in precision dispensing, hotmelt management, and related technologies, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Service Manager EMEA to join our team. The role is ideally based in Germany with remote flexibility, though we are open to exceptional candidates located elsewhere in Europe.

Summary of the role

As Service Manager EMEA, you will lead a multinational service organization supporting major customers across the packaging industry. You will guide a diverse team of supervisors and managers, strengthen operational performance, and help drive commercial growth through improved service processes and spare‑parts optimization.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead premium service

    • Develop global customer satisfaction and establish high class relationships with our customers

  • Develop the organization to be agile, responsive in an entrepreneurial spirit

    • Elevate technical skill and efficiency of the Team with a customer oriented mindset and in an European framework.

  • Revenue Growth

    • Create and Support specific sales programs to develop service turnover and increase spare-part sales.

  • Compliance & Process Optimization

    • Continue the unification and simplification of the European processes in a data driven decision making.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a Technical Team or similar operational skills.

  • Proven experience managing partners across diverse markets in the EMEA region.

  • Commercial and sales experience is not required for this role, but it is considered a valuable advantage.

  • Fluent in English; additional European language(s) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Results-driven with strong analytical capabilities.

Travel

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within EMEA
