Technology Platform Engineer - Model/PDKs

The role of technology platform engineer offers an interesting opportunity to work on improving design flow/methodology, design kits, and scripting/automation of tasks. This will require a strong understanding of device-level behavior and modeling, experience with both front-end and back-end design and interest in automation. As a motivated individual, you enjoy working both independently and within a team, you are solution-oriented and like ensuring continuous development by adding your personal expertise and experience.&nbsp;</span><br></p><p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>Collaborating&nbsp;&nbsp;with designers and the CAD group to support both analog and digital design&nbsp;flows.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Providing&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;support to design teams regarding the behavior and modeling of&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;semiconductor devices.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Maintaining&nbsp;up-to-date technology files and analyzing changes to assess associated&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; risks.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Assisting in&nbsp;&nbsp;the delivery of automated workflows and methodologies to maximize&nbsp;&nbsp;performance and usage of Process Design Kits (PDKs).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Providing documentation and technical support to internal design teams. As well as working with internal design teams to align PDK updates with technology roadmaps</span><span style="font-size:inherit;">.</span><strong><br></strong></p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualification and skills</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>Strong&nbsp;knowledge of semiconductor devices, SPICE modeling/simulation and the&nbsp;&nbsp;Spectre simulator.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience or&nbsp; interest in developing automation using Virtuoso-SKILL, Tcl, and/or Python&nbsp; (proficiency in more than one is preferred).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Solid&nbsp;understanding of foundry processes and methodologies related to PDK&nbsp; development.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficient with&nbsp;Unix, especially in scripting (shell, python).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with&nbsp;&nbsp; Git revision control is a plus.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Personal Skills</strong></p><p>We’re looking for someone who takes full ownership of their work, follows through on tasks, and ensures nothing is left unresolved.
