You will lead the full assembly readiness process, ensuring packaging technologies, materials, and manufacturing flows are validated, documented, and ready for seamless transition into volume production. Working closely with OSAT partners, you will define process requirements, qualify assembly flows, and guide prototype builds while resolving technical challenges related to yield, materials, reliability, and DFM considerations.</p><p>Your expertise will drive robust problem‑solving, data‑driven decision‑making, and continuous improvement across the NPI lifecycle. With strong ownership, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence, you will help deliver successful new product introductions that strengthen our supply chain and support the growth of our semiconductor portfolio.<strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Lead the end‑to‑end assembly readiness for new products</strong>, ensuring packaging, materials, and manufacturing processes are fully validated and ready for smooth transition into volume production.</p></li><li><p><strong>Collaborate closely with OSAT partners</strong> (assembly/test subcontractors) to define process requirements, qualify assembly flows, and resolve technical issues during prototype builds and ramp‑up.</p></li><li><p><strong>Drive technical problem‑solving on assembly‑related issues</strong>, including yield challenges, material compatibility, DFM reviews, and reliability risks, ensuring timely root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.</p></li><li><p><strong>Own documentation and process definition</strong>—including build instructions, BOM/AVL readiness, assembly specifications, and change management—to ensure consistent execution across the supply chain.</p></li><li><p><strong>Act as the key interface between engineering, operations, and supply chain teams</strong>, translating product requirements into manufacturable solutions while ensuring schedule adherence, product quality, and supplier alignment throughout the NPI lifecycle.<strong><br></strong></p></li></ul><p><strong>Key Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Deep technical expertise in semiconductor assembly technologies</strong>, including package architectures, material systems, thermo‑mechanical behavior, and DFM/DFX principles relevant to OSAT manufacturing environments.</p></li><li><p><strong>Hands‑on experience with NPI and assembly process qualification</strong>, including prototype build support, process validation, yield analysis, failure investigation, and reliability testing.</p></li><li><p><strong>Strong capability in supplier and OSAT technical engagement</strong>, covering process requirement definition, capability reviews, factory readiness assessments, and technical issue resolution.</p></li><li><p><strong>Proficiency in manufacturing documentation and readiness</strong>, including BOM/AVL preparation, assembly specifications, build instructions, ECN management, and release of manufacturing flows.</p></li><li><p><strong>Advanced analytical skills with engineering data</strong>, including interpretation of FA results, SPC trends, DOE outcomes, and reliability data to drive conclusions and improvements.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Personal Skills</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate brings a proactive, solution‑driven mindset and thrives in a fast‑paced environment where new products and requirements evolve quickly.
