About this role
Description
We are looking for dependable, resourceful 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing facility in Reno, NV. Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure operation of machinery by completing maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.
- Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, schematics, service manuals, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance and take corrective action to prevent equipment down time.
- Maintain parts and supplies inventory and reorder as necessary.
- Follow all required safety practices including lockout-tagout and wearing required PPE.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma or general education (GED)
• Previous mechanical and electrical machine repair experience necessary
• Knowledge of PLC system and interpreting electrical schematics preferred
• Ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints and procedures
• Basic computer skills
• Able to perform basic mathematical functions
• At least 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing, packaging, industrial or warehouse environment
• Sound judgment, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently

$37/Hourly
M-Th 10-hour days
5am -3:30pm
