About this role

As Parameter Configuration Specialist (m/f/d), you contribute to the safe and stable operation of our turbine control systems. You work closely with 1st Level Support, Engineering, and other interfaces to ensure correct configurations and resolve technical inquiries. In this role, you help secure high availability and consistent process quality across our fleet.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Provide 2nd level support for parameter management across OT components
  • Support 1st level colleagues with TARGET configuration and IST vs. TARGET checks
  • Identify parameter deviations and coordinate corrective actions
  • Collaborate with Engineering on creating and validating configuration "recipes"
  • Consolidate Service relevant requirements for the Parameter Management Application (PCMS)
  • Maintain handling instructions and knowledge databases and process and coordinate tickets in the support system
  • Analyse errors and initiate troubleshooting for downstream applications

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in a technical field or an equivalent qualification
  • Strong experience in configuration management
  • Knowledge of configuration‑relevant master data and technical documentation
  • Familiar with Nordex Control 2, WinCC, or similar control software
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office Professional
  • Quality‑driven, results‑oriented working style
  • Strong English skills and willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 10%)
