About this role
Amman Academy is one of the top international schools in Jordan and the world, and was recognised as an IB world school in 2006. It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 private IB day school, teaching ages 3 to 19 bilingually in English and Arabic. The school is located in the heart of West Amman in the popular neighbourhood of Khalda.
Job Description

Manage and administer the school’s information system (e.g., iSAMS).

Maintain data accuracy, database updates, and system backups.

Produce reports, dashboards, and data analysis for leadership.

Maintain and update the IT knowledge database and documentation.

Lead the software support team and ensure timely issue resolution.

Handle system integrations, APIs, and data connections with third-party platforms.

Provide training and support to academic and administrative staff.
Job Responsibilities
Required Skills/Abilities
-
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
-
5-7 years of experience in software/system administration.
-
Knowledge of school information systems and academic workflows.
-
Strong data analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.

Strong skills in Excel (advanced functions) and Power BI reporting.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
