The British College of Brazil (BCB) is one of the leading international schools in Sao Paulo, the biggest and one of the most important cities in Brazil, offering contemporary British international education to students from Pre-Nursery through to Secondary, teaching ages 2 to 17 bilingually in English and Portuguese. Job Description
The British College of Brazil (BCB) is seeking a Secondary Spanish Teacher to join its international academic community and deliver high-quality language education.

Plan and deliver effective Spanish lessons for Secondary students

Ensure engaging, well-structured teaching that promotes student progress

Assess, track, and report on student learning, providing constructive feedback

Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of native and non-native speakers, including EAL approaches

Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment aligned with school policies

Contribute to the wider life of the school through events, activities, and projects

Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues
Required Skills/Abilities
Requirements:
-
Teaching degree with QTS
- Knowledge and experience of teaching Spanish for 3 years
- Knowledge of EAL teaching strategies
-
Strong classroom management, organisation, and teamwork skills
Desirable:
-
Experience and knowledge with IBDP
- Native Spanish speaker
- Previous international teaching experience

A proven track record of teaching Spanish with at least two years teaching experience
