Role Description:

  • Monitor and perform analysis on key service provider metrics, service levels, and controls a0nd act as a liaison between service provider and Nomura.
  • Provide cross functional support vender management, user access, and Management / Board reporting
  • Implementation of new initiatives and controls
  • Special Projects: Represent Transfer Agent and serve as liaison to service providers
  • Oversight of services provided by external transfer agent, including, but not limited to:     
  • Call Center
  • New Account Set-up
  • Transaction Processing
  • Statements
  • Account Holder Inquiries
  • Client Statements and Confirmations
  • Client Tax Reporting
  • Financial Control (money movement / reconciliations)
  • Lost Shareholder / Escheatment process
  • Operational support for fund and firm initiatives including new fund launches, share class launches, fund mergers, name changes, fund proxies, and tender offers.

 

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • Knowledge of Mutual Fund Transfer Agent shareholder services, controls, and operations.
  • Technical background with the ability to be business liaison with IT.
  • Possess data gathering, data reporting, and data analysis skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards and eligibility for commissions for applicable sales roles in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
