About this role

Responsibilities

Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.  We are currently recruiting for a Materials/Logistics Specialist.

 

The Materials/Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting procurement of material, training, equipment positioning, and all related logistics functions for project support.

 

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure on-time delivery of support materials (e.g., property, supplies, and equipment).
  • Prepare and maintain property, maintenance, and operational records.
  • Manage, oversee, and implement all supply, receiving, marking, and warehousing and storage efforts.
  • Ensure that all shipments and receipt of equipment and materials for the TO are properly documented and follow proper customs procedures.
  • Maintain strict accountability of equipment, supplies, spare parts, etc. through a computerized file and accounting system.
  • Ensure that all goods and services procured in support of applicable TOs and are purchased and paid for in accordance with applicable DoD and company regulations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 0 to 3 years experience or High School Diploma with 11 years relevant work experience 

  • US Citizen with an active security clearance at the SECRET level or higher, or the ability to acquire a SECRET clearance prior to start date.
  • ILS work experience
  • Experience with commercial market acquisition techniques, include military electronic materials acquisition, adhering to federal guidelines for free and open competition for those acquisitions available on commercial market and compatible with military operation systems.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

USD $53,900.00 - USD $84,200.00 /Yr.
