Noblis is seeking a Instructional Designer to assess, develop, and deliver training products and services as they relate to the FAA’s telecommunications systems and services.  As part of the Noblis team, candidates will work closely with government clients to understand current issues and challenges, conduct data analysis on the effectiveness of training curricula, develop technologically advanced training materials, deliver training and products to a distributed workforce as related to a variety of FAA telecommunications systems.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate closely with FAA government clients and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand operational challenges, system requirements, and training needs.
  • Design instructionally sound and educationally effective training solutions using appropriate learning methodologies and best practices.
  • Select, integrate, and provide guidance on the use of multimedia, learning technologies, and delivery platforms to enhance learner engagement and outcomes.
  • Deliver training to a geographically distributed workforce in support of FAA telecommunications programs.
  • Ensure training products align with FAA standards, operational requirements, and enterprise infrastructure objectives.
  • Adapt training strategies and materials in response to evolving customer requirements and system changes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 16+ years of professional training and instructional design experience. Additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for the degree. Or Master's degree and 13 years experience.
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, delivers, sustains, and evaluates training and support materials
  • Conducts needs analysis of groups, processes, jobs, tools, or products to identify performance requirements of training and curricula
  • Determines appropriate design to ensure that training products are instructionally and educationally sound and develops training materials based on results of content research conducted with subject matter experts and customers
  • Selects and provides guidance on use of various types of media to be integrated into training products. Evaluates training products and services to measure effectiveness in achieving desired results
  • Delivers training courses supporting specific customer or corporate business needs and provides guidance to other instructors
  • Leads the application of new development and delivery technologies and techniques by piloting the new programs, developing supporting instructional tools, and coaching other users
  • May provide tutoring and extensive supplementary training to individual participants based on need/request.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Travel requirement: 25%
  • Location is remote

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

USD $78,900.00 - USD $123,300.00 /Yr.
