The Cyber Testing Center (CTC) is an international team of security professionals and ethical hackers who thrive on discovering how things work - and how they can be made safer. Every day we put web, mobile applications and infrastructure under the microscope, while also delivering hands-on training and workshops for our internal customers.
As cyber-threats evolve, so do we. To keep NN’s digital landscape secure, we’re now opening the door to motivated university students who want to get real-world security experience, learn from senior team members!
Your impact at NN
As a junior Python developer in the penetration testing team, you will be responsible for development and improvement of our open-source reporting tool.
What are the tasks you will perform
Support the senior colleagues with development of our reporting tool
Collaborate with teammates to design and deliver new features
Write clean, maintainable code and meaningful tests
Keeping the documentation clear and current
What we expect from you
Comfortable with writing and reading Python code
Hands-on experience of working with Git
Responsible approach to work and assigned tasks
Nice to have (but not must) is some open-source project that you have or contributed to
Not flawless, but we've got this for you
We offer you quite large flexibility in how you plan your working days and hours, you can also work remotely from the home office
Contribution to open-source project, which we believe is great addition to your future reference
As you will be part of pentesting team and supporting pentesters, there is a lot of knowledge that you can gain also from this field of cybersecurity

What you'll do
- The role involves supporting senior colleagues in the development and improvement of an open-source reporting tool used by the penetration testing team. Tasks include collaborating on new features, writing clean, maintainable code with tests, and keeping documentation current.
