About this role
NN started its operations in Hungary in 1991 under the name Nationale-Nederlanden. In just 6 years, we became market leaders and continue to be a key player in the Hungarian life insurance market. NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a Java Developer to support developing our digital sales platform.
In this position, you will develop Spring Boot based microservices and provide enhancements, development of related utilities/interfaces and other office applications based on business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements, support business achieving business goals by implementing business features, advise potential improvements and suggest sustainable solutions
- Monitor and control that the coding standards are followed in all implementations related to the domain. Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements.
- Perform unit testing on the developed function
- Ensure SDLC principles are applied during development
- Build flexible data models and seamless integration points using the specification provided
- Utilize your experience in Java, Spring, SpringBoot
- Use your knowledge of strategic technology stack e.g. API gateway, Microservices, Cloud based infrastructure
- Play contributor role in your agile team, maintain solid knowledge in your community of practice by demonstrating your best practices
- Extend your technical and business knowledge
What matters to us:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Java development and related technologies
- Knowledge of Microservices, CI/CD, Git, Unit Testing, SQL
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Fluent English language knowledge
