NN Insurance Belgium (NNIB) collaborates with various IT suppliers to support our digital services. As an IT Vendor Manager, you are responsible for managing and optimizing these relationships. You play a key role in ensuring the quality and continuity of our IT services and have a direct impact on our strategic objectives. You make sure that contracts are correctly executed, services meet the agreed quality and service levels, and that risks and costs remain under control. You act as the bridge between internal teams and suppliers, with the goal of achieving a stable, efficient, and cost‑effective collaboration.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Documenting, maintaining, strengthening and optimizing partnerships with external IT suppliers.
Monitoring contracts and Service Level Agreements, including compliance follow-up and commercial optimization.
Continuously monitoring service quality and performance, reporting on KPIs and risks, and escalating issues in a timely manner.
Coordinating escalations and ensuring quick and effective solutions.
Performing risk analyses and audits, and overseeing compliance with internal policies and legal requirements (GDPR, DORA, security).
Developing and managing exit strategies and continuity plans to limit risks in case of contract termination or supplier failure.
Designing, managing, and continuously improving the vendor management process in collaboration with procurement and internal stakeholders.
Identifying savings opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Acting as a liaison between internal teams (IT, security, legal, procurement) and external vendors, ensuring transparent communication and shared objectives.
Advising management on improvement opportunities, risks, and optimizations within the vendor landscape
At least 5 years of experience in IT services and vendor management.
Knowledge of contract management and SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Experience with ITIL is a plus.
Knowledge of compliance and security (GDPR, DORA, ISO standards).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proactive, independent and solution‑oriented.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills, with assertiveness in negotiations.
Customer‑ and service‑oriented mindset.
Fluent in English, Dutch and French.
