We are currently looking for a Technical Training Sr. Specialist to join our Dealer Network and Training Team. This executive will create, develop, implement, and conduct innovative training programs for Nissan Mexicana, Infiniti, and NIBU (Nissan Importers Business Unit).

A Typical Day at Nissan:

  • Leads the design, implementation, and management of innovative training programs for dealership staff (sales advisors, service advisors, and technicians), leveraging advanced digital ecosystems and immersive technologies to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • Works with internal and external customers to produce employee training records.

  • Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.

  • Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and job skills qualification training for dealership employees.

  • Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers’ specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.

  • Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.

  • Creates and delivers e-learning (CBTs) with interactivity levels that range from basic (i.e., static text and images on screen) to advanced (i.e., multi-part, branching simulation activities).

  • Manages training projects from analysis, design, and production of instructor-led materials or computer-based training.

  • Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats, including group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos.

  • Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.

  • Assesses training materials prepared by instructors.

  • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.

  • Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.

  • Prepares and implements the training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.

Professional Profile We Are Looking For:

  • Degree in Training and Development, Human Resources, or related disciplines.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience developing and delivering leadership and professional development training programs.

  • Experience with WebAR, 3D avatar-based assessments, virtual simulators, and metaverse platforms.

  • Experience in development tools to create engaging and interactive CBTs (Articulate- Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, Canva, etc.).

  • Proficient with Copilot.

  • Data Analytics: Ability to measure training impact using KPIs and dashboards.

  • Advanced proficient level of English.

Estimated travel requirements: 10% (annually).

Desirable:

  • Project Management skills and/or People leadership experience Highly Preferred.

  • Expert in various leadership, management, and training methodologies preferred (Servant Leadership and Situational Leadership).
