C# Backend Engineer Intern Position – Summer 2026


We’re looking or a highly motivated and self-starting Software Engineer Intern to join the Nintendo Technology Development’s (NTD) Installers team for the Summer of 2026.


The Opportunity


This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with passion for excellence and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, engineering focused environment.  You will be instrumental in delivering high quality features and bug fixes by:



  • Breaking down large features into manageable work items

  • Applying strong problem-solving skill to overcome technical challenges

  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail and a creative mindset in your work

  • Being a collaborative team player who is also comfortable working independently

  • Affinity for numerical reasoning and analytical thinking, with an ability to interpret and optimize algorithmic performance


What we’re looking for…


The ideal candidate is:



  • Comfortable with fundamentals of C# and web technologies (HTTP, REST, Databases)

  • Familiar with general software tools (IDEs, source control, debuggers, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals

  • A rising senior pursuing BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering related field

  • Ready to learn quickly, ask questions, and jump into a small, dynamic team setting

  • An effective communicator with strong writing skills

  • Available for full-time work during the summer of 2026


 
This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time. 

This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Pay Range:
$40$40 USD
