About this role

Job description:

1.     Design 2D drawings and 3D layouts for machine harnesses (considering mechanical space and routing), optimize harness paths to avoid interference, wear, or electromagnetic interference.

2.     Support selecting cables and connectors/terminals, choosing appropriate protective materials based on the application scenario.

3.     Responsible for wire harness prototyping and communicating technical details with suppliers, as well as validating and refining harness.

4.     Responsible for communicating with production lines regarding harness routing and installation details.

5.     Harness drawing archiving and technical approval documentation.

 

Qualifications:

1.     Associate or above in electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics or similar.

2.     Proficient in CAD design software such as Creo, AutoCAD, etc.

3.     Arrange the harness according to the electrical wiring diagram of the machine.

4.     Familiar with common connectors, terminals, cables, packaging materials, and auxiliary materials; understand wire harness production processes including wire cutting, stripping, crimping, assembly, and testing.

5.     Nice to have experience in harness design for electrical products such as home appliances and automobiles.

6.     Nice to be proficient in English reading and writing.
