El encuestador de campo tiene como principal responsabilidad la colecta de información, labor para la cual se le capacitara y se le entregarán los elementos necesarios que le permitirán realizar un trabajo con calidad y oportunidad, de acuerdo con los parámetros exigidos por NielsenIQ. Su trabajo es fundamental para el Censo, su buen desempeño, el amplio sentido de responsabilidad y cooperación depende, en gran medida, que la información recolectada sea la precisa y requerida. Por tanto, sus tareas, funciones y responsabilidades no son delegables.

1. Participar activamente en el proceso de entrenamiento y una vez finalizado, aprobar el examen y superarlo con una calificación mayor al 85% para lograr certificarse.
2. Visitar los diferentes establecimientos seleccionados y realizar el barrido y la encuesta de acuerdo con la metodología, procedimientos e instrucciones recibidas en su entrenamiento.
3. Leer a los dueños o encargados de los establecimientos, textualmente las preguntas tal cual como aparecen en el cuestionario, siguiendo estrictamente el orden y la forma correcta de hacerlas.
4. Cumplir con las rutas y la carga de trabajo asignada, asistir puntualmente al lugar de trabajo señalado o planeado y comunicar inmediatamente a su manager cualquier dificultad, duda o problema que se presente en campo.
5. Llevar siempre consigo el material de trabajo como; celular, credencial, etc., y velar por el buen cuidado y uso de estas herramientas, esto con el fin de recolectar la información en tiempo y forma.
6. Todas las funciones y responsabilidades que se le asigne de acuerdo con su ámbito de competencia.

1. Mínimo bachiller o segundaria completa
2. Preferiblemente con experiencia en labores fuera de oficina (Trabajo en campo) relacionados con manejo de productos de consumo masivo.
3. Conocimiento general de la ciudad (que puedan ubicarse y desplazarse con facilidad y buena orientación) y agrado para trabajar en campo.
4. Conocimientos básicos en el uso de dispositivos o herramientas tecnológicas como; Outlook, Drive, manejo de tabletas, smartphones, software de encuestas etc.
