Job Summary

Shift: 2nd Shift

Days of Work: Monday - Thursday

Work Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Work Location: On-site (Mankato, MN)

Starting Salary: $23.75 to $26.57 hourly + 10% shift differential

Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly

Job Description

Wind, tape and insulate coils for stators for motors and generators.  Prepares insulation as required.  Follows methods and procedures as outlined in specifications.  Uses hand and power tools as required.  Daily/weekly TPM tasks must be completed with accuracy and consistency.  Normal supervision.  Five thousand (5,000) hours experience required to perform work proficiently.  Performs other duties as designated by supervisor in the same salary grade or below.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requires a general knowledge of coil winding techniques and operations, insulating procedures and materials.  Vocational or high school graduate; progressive on-the-job training.

NOTE: In the Coil/Stator Manufacturing area, upon completion of one thousand (1,000) hours of training on a CNC-driven machine a Stator Winder Insulator B will be promoted to a Stator Winder Insulator A - Grade 4.  Department/Cell crossover does not apply.

Must be a sole US citizen.
