Job Description


So, what’s the role all about?  


We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Manager- DevOps to lead our DevOps team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), and security best practices. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on expertise to drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation across our development and operations teams. 
 


How will you make an impact? 
 
Leadership & Strategy: 
 



  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.  



  • Develop and implement DevOps strategies to optimize system performance, scalability, and security.  



  • Work closely with development, security, and IT teams to align DevOps initiatives with business objectives.  



  • Establish best practices for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and 
     


Infrastructure & Automation: 
  



  • Design and manage cloud-based (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises 



  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar 



  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or other tools.  



  • Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.  
     


Monitoring, Security & Compliance: 
 



  • Ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, or similar tools.  



  • Enforce security best practices, including vulnerability management, compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001), and access control.  



  • Implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies to minimize. 


 


Collaboration & Process Optimization: 
  



  • Work with software development teams to streamline the software development lifecycle (SDLC).  



  • Promote DevOps culture by advocating for automation, continuous delivery, and feedback loops.  



  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement scalable 



  • Manage cloud cost optimization and resource  


Qualifications & Experience: 



  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.  



  • Experience: 14+ years in AWS DevOps, with at least 3+ years in a leadership/management 



  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).  



  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).  



  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go).  



  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).  



  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).  



  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).  



  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance 



  • Experience with Kubernetes security (RBAC, network policies). (Good to have) 



  • Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices (Good to have) 



  • Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd). (Good to have) 



  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum(Good to have)  



  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making 



  • Excellent communication and collaboration 



  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced 

  • Passion for continuous learning and
