So, what’s the role all about?


We are currently looking for a SW QA-UAT Engineer 2 to join our team in Pune. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality product to the client, working closely with your QA team lead in a high collaborative cross functional environment.


How will you make an impact?



  • Daily client’s change request, client version upgrades, capacity management, system standardization process – 75% Product Testing – 25%



  • Responsible for testing through the entire lifecycle of a project, including test case development execution and verification

  • Tracking and reporting software defects, along with verifying resolved issues in ticket tracking application

  • Follow the current process effectively and provide the process improvement suggestions to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness

  • knowledge on trouble shooting from logs

  • Collaborate with team leads to develop effective strategies and test plans

  • Provide the team with testing progress and continuous risk assessment during the Testing phase

  • Support validation efforts by acquiring evidence during testing phase, as well as generating validation reports at cycle end

  • Interact with other team members to incorporate their innovations and vice versa and displays commitment to excellence

  • Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment

  • Collaborate communicate with other project teams and support groups to coordinate cross-project initiatives to improve the quality of quicker resolutions


Have you got what it takes? 



  • 2+ years in CCaaS in a technical operations environment and terminology

  • Should have around a year of experience in manual software testing

  • Should have good knowledge of manual testing concepts

  • API Testing knowledge

  • Knowledge in any Scripting Language

  • Open Source SOAPUI/Commercial READY API

  • Manual Testing courses / certifications (added advantage)

  • Exposure on XML and JSON

  • UI Automation tools

  • Should have experience in creating test cases with no supervision

  • Knowledge about web-based product functionality

  • Knowledge of Project Management Process

  • Sharp attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • Passionate, creative, flexible, independent and self-motivated individuals who take initiative and ownership of projects are desired

  • Knowledge/Experience on automation tools are added advantage

  • Effective communication in English is essential

  • Experience in Product Life Cycle Testing Procedures, Standard Manual Testing Procedures and Practices

  • Basic SQL knowledge is must

  • Should be ready to work under close supervision

  • Have interesting technical problems to solve, and awesome people to work with
