Accounts Payable Analyst I - MX

Detailed Description

Perform accounting tasks to support the accounts payable area, process documents in a timely and efficient manner, through the electronic process system, in order to maintain accurate records to process payments.

  • Review, verify and process invoices for payment, verifying that the amount is correct and that official referrals adhere to established regulations.
  • Maintain timely, accurate and complete supplier records.
  • Follow up with the corresponding departments to obtain documentation and support, including authorizations for transactions that have not been reported.
  • Properly classify accounting documents according to existing cost centers.
  • Maintain the portfolio of the Suppliers assigned in “Not Due”
  • Ensure that the Supplier accounts impacted by the Suppliers assigned are cleaned and not due.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other related fields or equivalent experience
  • 1 year of experience in manufacturing accounting or a similar role.
  • Proficient in Excel; experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Accounting, understanding of credit/debit, accounts payable.
  • Advanced proficiency in English
