Role- Full Time

Position- APM Associate Product Manager ( Audit & Compliance)

Location- Mumbai

YOE- 1-3 Years

About the Role-
We are seeking an Associate Product Manager (APM) who operates with an "owner’s
mindset." This role is for a problem solver who can analyze complex requirements, manage
tough stakeholders (especially Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams), and unblock engineering
teams independently. You will be responsible for participating and playing a vital role in critical
regulatory compliance audits, and ensuring that product/data delivery happens on time, every
time. We need someone comfortable with high visibility, data precision, and driving execution
without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Product Specification & Delivery: Translate customer/business requirements into clear,
detailed product specifications, one-pagers, and user stories. You will work with your manager
to write effective specs that speak the "engineer’s language", ensuring absolute clarity for your
peers. Your specifications must be detailed enough that AI could read them and write working code.

End-to-End Ownership: Take full independent ownership of your pod to drive the product
roadmap and execution pace without requiring constant intervention or supervision.
Stakeholder Management: Proactively engage with stakeholders across the organization to
gather feedback and ensure everyone is on the same page regarding the sequence of
execution. You will act as the primary Point of Contact (POC)—specifically for the Risk,
Compliance, and Audit teams—
building strong rapport while managing their expectations
firmly. Your stakeholders feel comfort in being heard and feel obliged to give you business
outcomes.
Operational Visibility & Presence: Maintain high visibility and availability in the office to
facilitate real-time coordination with cross-functional teams. You must be present during critical tasks (e.g., audits, scrutinies) to unblock dependencies immediately.

Data & Requirement Precision: Deeply understand data complexities to streamline
requirements for the engineering team. Ensure all necessary data is gathered from
stakeholders before handing off to developers to avoid redundant work or delays.
Proactive Communication: Providing accurate, transparent updates on roadmap progress.
Ensure "firm" follow-ups with stakeholders to keep projects moving, rather than acting solely

Qualification:
An ideal candidate would have:
- Experience: BTech/BE from a top engineering school strongly preferred
- Graduate with 1-3 years of experience and at least 1 year of Product Management
experience in the fintech industry (lending industry experience preferred)
- High Agency: Thrives in pressure; does not just survive it. Demonstrated ability to solve
problems autonomously and manage complex personalities or stakeholders in a
high-speed setting.
- Constructive Pushback: Acts as a quality gatekeeper capable of saying "no" to noise
and rejecting incomplete requirements and demanding stakeholder clarity to protect
engineering bandwidth.
- Technical/Data Aptitude: Comfortable defining complex logic for data-heavy
requirements (e.g., accounting ledgers, reconciliations) and analyzing data
dependencies to effectively support the engineering team.
- Should be adept in using Gen AI to unlock productivity for yourself and others
- Can quickly make no-code prototypes on Lovable/any other prototyping software
- Working knowledge of SQL & Excel and basic knowledge of APIs
- Structured thinking & problem solving
- - Strong communication (both verbal & written) - Should be able to individually lead mini projects

projects
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast paced environment
- Clearly demonstrable impact in past roles
- Intellectual curiosity/agility

- A great attitude
