Job Description (Role):
The Head of Sales is a leadership position with full responsibility for revenue generation, P&L accountability, and driving the company's growth. This individual will play an integral role in developing new business, managing a small but dynamic team, and driving sales results. A core focus of this role will be driving mutual fund distribution, significantly growing the network of sub-brokers, and actively contributing to the sale of diverse asset classes. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in B2C sales, particularly within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector, with a deep understanding of financial investment products such as Mutual Funds, Insurance, etc.
Compliance: Ensure all sales activities and sub-broker operations adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
Location Mumbai
Specific criteria required:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in sales (financial sector), with a proven track record of driving revenue and achieving sales targets, particularly in the Mutual Fund industry.
• Experience handling B2B would be preferred
• Strong experience with financial investment products such as mutual funds, wealth management, or other financial services.
• Candidates with experience in fintech or wealth management will be highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced qualifications are a plus.
