Job Summary/Objective: 

The Project Manager I is responsible for managing small-scale projects with limited scope and complexity. This position focuses on planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met. The role serves as an entry point into project management, providing exposure to foundational processes and practices. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Support the planning, monitoring, and execution of small-scale projects to meet company objectives. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate project records, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are adhered to. 
    • Partner with leaders to identify risks within projects and support the implementation of mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. 
    • Coordinate discussions with stakeholders to clarify project scope and promote alignment across teams. 
    • Assist in managing subcontractor and vendor compliance including insurance requirements. 
    • Manage and perform work across various platforms, systems, and software to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. 
    • Perform additional duties as assigned based on project requirements. 

 

Minimum Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree  
  • 0-2 years of experience  

 

Preferred and Additional Eligibility Qualifications: 

  • PMP Certification

Direct/Indirect Supervisory Responsibility:  

  • N/A 

 

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel Required: 

  • Office environment with long periods of sitting and computer work.    
  • Full-time role, 40 hours per week, with occasional travel to client offices and project sites as needed.
