About this role

We are looking for a CRM Executive to join our Total Platform eCommerce team on a 12 Month FTC! Based at Next Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire with a competitive salary range and great benefits!

The CRM Team within Total Platform at NEXT is predominantly responsible for Email, Loyalty and On-Site marketing and to help deliver a best-in-class CRM Marketing service across all six of our current TP Partners: Reiss, FatFace, Victoria’s Secret, GAP, Joules and Jojo Maman Bebe.

 

About the role:

 

As a CRM Executive within the Total Platform CRM team, you will support the execution and development of email, push, SMS and WhatsApp marketing within our Total Platform business. You’ll work closely with the rest of the CRM team to help deliver a best in class CRM Marketing service across all seven of our current TP Partners: Reiss, FatFace, Victoria’s Secret, GAP, Joules, Jojo Maman Bebe and The Set.

 

This role will initially see you own the development and execution of BAU email marketing, automated email programmes and on-site personalisation for one of our partners, managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic and commercial goals. You’ll also be involved in the scoping and potential set-up of SMS, WhatsApp and Loyalty Programmes. Please note that you may be moved around the team at a later date to ensure the best fit for you within the available roles and partners.

 

What else is involved?

 

  • Develop and execute email, SMS & push marketing campaigns including the set-up, scheduling, and deployment of one-time, recurring, and triggered campaigns.
  • Work closely with the key teams/stakeholders to create bespoke campaigns to increase sales, drive engagement and retention on email.
  • Analyse performance of email marketing campaigns to provide actionable insights and improvements for future development 
  • Reporting on all CRM KPIs generated through CRM marketing campaigns.
  • Scope, POC and potentially develop SMS and WhatsApp as new marketing channels.
  • Assist with the day to day administration tasks.

 

You’ll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office on a hybrid basis to help ensure your work works for you. You’ll spend three days a week at our inspiring Head Office Campus with 2 days working from home. There is also a requirement to visit partner sites (usually no more than once every two weeks), and travel expenses will be paid in these circumstances.

 

About You:

 

Reporting to the Total Platform CRM Manager, the ideal candidate will be a keen problem solver able to work within a large, global team of marketers and external partners.

 

  • Experience with a modern CDXP such as Bloomreach Engage/Exponea is ideal but not compulsory
  • A basic understanding of HTML, Python or Jinja2 is preferred
  • Self-motivated & highly organised with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and stay calm under pressure
  • Creative and inquisitive with a thirst to learn more
  • Aptitude for attention to detail
  • Able to take direction and deliver tasks accordingly
  • Effective team player; can do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate level user of the Google Suite
  • Marketing experience ideally gained in a retail environment, working on email, marketing or ecommerce.
