About this role

Production/Promotions Internship

WTVO 17 and WQRF FOX 39 in Rockford, IL, are now accepting applications for internships within their production/promotions departments.  The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to learn all aspects of the behind-the-scenes of television news industry, be dependable, able to communicate well with others and be able to work flexible hours and varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays. 

Interns will learn about all aspects of television including, newscast and commercial production, station promotions and copy writing.

Requirements and skills:

  • Interns must receive college course credit.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn.

THIS IS AN UNPAID, SUPERVISED INTERNSHIP.
