About this role

KELOLAND Media Group is looking for a hard-working student who wants to experience all aspects of our Sioux Falls newsroom. Our interns work in cooperation with producers, anchors, reporters, web producers and photographers to develop news content that is both timely and relevant to our television and digital audiences. We are looking for someone who will contribute original story ideas to the daily planning meetings. You also need to be a strong writer, pay attention to detail, have good people skills and knowledge of current events.

This position requires you to work a flexible schedule to meet breaking news needs. You need to be able to do well in stressful situations and have an understanding of our local community.

Applicant must provide examples of writing & reporting. Mandatory background check is a condition of hire.
